I take it as Annily is back in Corsica for the holidays, but implies she was somewhere else for a time. Maybe going to school on the mainland? Why would she not attend a local school, unless they are sending her to a special school that might emphasize development in the arts (music, theater, etc.)?

I wondered about that too. Maybe it was some type of field trip or maybe it was a trip to see Jeremy???

I looked up the school year in Corsica, and they have what they call "Autumn Holidays" from October 23-November 4. The photo with Annily was taken October 31st, so that fits right into the holiday schedule.

Now that you brought it up, it makes sense she probably spent some time with her Dad.

My daughter loves “Stranger Things” and wore the same costume for Halloween this year as Annily. This is a picture of her trick-or-treating. I have superimposed a photo of the original character from “Stranger Things” over her face to protect her privacy.
Last summer we visited a shopping mall where”Stranger Things” filmed some episodes from the upcoming season. I am posting here a picture of the front of the mall. The mall was renovated inside for the show, to look like a mall from the 1980s, with stores that were in existence then. If Annily ever comes to the US and is interested in visiting this mall, we’d love to give her a tour!

Even if I never get to meet Alizee, second best would be meeting Annily one day. I am thinking she is a chip off the Alizee block with a pleasant personality and a good sense of humor. She is probably fairly fluent in English as well.

Yes I think Annily's English is probably better than her mom's.
But we'll always love Alizee's cute accent ^^
I'd love to meet Annily too but I'm too shy for these things.

I saw this yesterday and I started thinking that's not as far fetched an idea as you might think it would be. Now I'm sure Annily would love to see this place, but if one of us 'guys' says, come over, we'll take real good care of you, Alizee would say "Yeah right! But a married woman, who has a daughter a little younger than Alizee would be quite another story. Plus she speaks a little French.

Now she wouldn't come over just for this, so we'd have to find something to sweeten the pot and I couldn't think of anything concerning Annily.........yet, but one thing I remember Alizee said in one of her interviews years ago is she wanted to swim with the dolphins. I wonder if she ever got to do that, either when she was in Florida or maybe somewhere in Europe.

Bamagirl once mentioned, I think in pm, she's living in Florida. I wonder if she has anything like that near her?

If Alizee hasn't done that yet, we could make it a great trip for both of them.

Agree that Bamagirl would be an ideal tour guide, but she would have to break the news to Alizee and Annily that she has some friends that would like to tag along {nudge nudge wink wink}.

I would be delighted to host Alizée and Annily if they come to my part of the world. I do live in Florida. We have Sea World in Orlando, which has an interactive dolphin experience. I am not sure about swimming with them, though. However, I bet I could do more research and find out more options.

I took my godson there a few years ago, when he was in his teens. He swam in the tank and we purchased the video of his experience. It was fantastic!

There is so much to do. My daughter is going on an organized group trip in the spring to the Florida Keys, where they will be snorkeling and studying marine life. That is also something that I think Annily might find very exciting.
I think Alizée and Annily would thoroughly enjoy doing some of these things. What fun it would be to have the opportunity to show them around and help them have these wonderful experiences!
