They do come through and sweep the stage frequently - it's just that there is a massive volume of items being tossed up there.

No fear! Alizée is a ninja-ballerina, she'll handle herself well :-)

That's good to know, but they need to get 2 people to handle the load.

I don't think she would actually get hurt or anything, but I would hate to see her stumble, etc and get embarrassed.

I was just wondering if anyone else had that reaction when they first saw the concert though.

The first time I saw the concert, I couldn't put any kind of logical thought together. I sat there stunned in amazement, with a look like a deer caught in the headlights until it ended. However, on the following viewings I have noticed the scary things like descending the shoe stairway and the cluttered stage.

CFH, thanks for leading me to that video. How can she possibly be that adorable? Every time I start to regain normalcy she wrecks me again.

Join the club!

If i remember, there was even a part of the En Concert video where someone actually throws what looks like an American Flag on stage near Alizee. It think it was during the Moi Lolita Performance. Now was that done to piss-off us Americans or to show that America Loves Alizee.

No, that was done be an American fan named Dusty, or at least a member of the group he was with; and yes, that is an American flag. That's been discussed in a number of threads before (I'm just too lazy to go track them down), one of which started be me.

Indeed, that was from a group of American fans that were there. Their write-ups, including Dusty's, are available online. The links are in several threads on this board.

The first time I played the DVD I thought somebody bellyflopped on to the stage. Then I realized it was a huge teddybear. You notice that when the lights go down and then come back on all the gifts and flowers are gone. I've seen this at other concerts, they have roadies run out from both sides of the stage and gather them up.

Many times the stars donate the gifts such as teddy bears to local children hospitals.

Honestly, I wasn't watching the stuff laying on the stage
