I have nothing against UEDS, but I don't think it is suited for big live performances. For me, UEDS is about mood and atmosphere, something that cannot be replicated well on a big, well-lit stage in front of a large audience.

Ha yes I sorta tried to ignore the guy singing in JEAM and when I said "so much love for the JEAM performance" what I really meant is "so much love for Alizée's bit of the JEAM performance".

I presume she WANTS to sing recent songs to show she is not "just" the "lolita" ones..You know how difficult come out from streotype is..Also if yes, probably not the best songs for warming people on a show..
"Paola and Chiara" an italian sister duo make a similar tecnopop (nice girls btw..) but definitive not the same good voice..

THANKYOU!!! I thought I was the only one that absolutely melted at the sight of them since last year on Le Grand Journal, everyone hated Alizée's cleopatra-style eyes and I found it drop-dead amazing

I indecently, extremely love that make up, the heavy "Les collines" eyes treatment also was good.Her Cleo style can compete with famous Monica Bellucci Cleo..

I am betting that this is the way she would have performed LC in concert - with heavy bass and a special "look." I'm glad she finally had a chance to do at least one of her UEDS songs in a manner that I believe she was planning on.

She is growing as an artist, and as such is probably looking ahead better as to how she will perform songs she is recording. She would have learned this from Mylene, and, after getting some experience touring with the P. album, would likely have focused on this more for UEDS.

Yes, the eyes were a nice touch.

I watched LA when they had Pamela Anderson as guest since many of us thought she would appear with Pam. She (Pam) was uncomfortable as well during the interview. I think it's natural whenever you're in a situation like that. I mean when you're in a foreign land and you couldn't understand what they're saying.

The best scenario for me would be to have the host let the guest know in advance what the questions are and to have an interpreter beside the guest. Even the late night how hosts here do that like Jay Leno. He said he talk to his guests in the dressing room to let them know what they're going to talk about and to make them feel comfortable.
