You know, the original reason I bought a mac was so I wouldn't have to use the stupid Windows programs that ALWAYS gave me trouble.

Four years later and I'm still using Word about 99% of the time, unless I'm trying to make my document pretty and graphic and stuffs for which I use Pages. I luuuuuuv Pages.

Yeah. I used to do that as well with notebook. However, it was about 2 o'clock in the morning and I was really sleepy and kind of got lazy and decided to type it straight here. That extra 10 seconds of work could have saved me half an hour of work later.

Yes. But for some reason, it still logged me off. I tried to go back but it was too late. At first I thought it may be my browser. But, "Remember me" box, if I remember (no pun intended), works only when you leave the site, close your browser or even turn off your computer. In my case, I just finished my post and hit the "Preview" button when I got logged off. No big deal though. I'll just try to remember to copy and paste it in notebook next time.

Yep, but if it's unchecked I've found that sites will still kick you off after a while to protect your account.

Yahoo mail loves to do that to me. I'll go to check it somewhere over than my house and I'll make sure remember me is unchecked, and after reading a few emails it'll kick me off and re-enter my password

Yeah. Usually banks or other financial institution do that as well - just in case you're using a shared computer. But normally, they don't give you the option of staying logged in by checking a "remember me or keep me logged in box" because that would defeat the purpose of securing your account to begin with.

Yes. Actually I never get logged out randomly on AAm. I began copying everything I type long before I joined here, but I do it everywhere just in case.
