So I'm just hoping that she has struck a happy balance between work and play, and is coming out fully prepared with a great new album. I am truly looking forward to it, as I'm sure everyone else is...

Along the "being prepared" line of thought, I know that after Psych was released Alizée sought feedback and got a lot of it, and that one of the things she was told by many people was that the new album should be more focused with a narrower style range, rather than a smorgasbord or sampler. Obviously she has followed that advice, since we know it's a theme album. I also find it encouraging that she's shaken up her performance management and concert team, because that was where the worst problems of the Psychédélices era arose, not with the album itself. So there's reason to hope IMO.

As for the pace of production, she's at neither extreme. Mylène fans can tell you about waiting and waiting and waiting for a new album. Her Grace isn't half that bad. Not yet anyway. I mean, it's only been two years, folks. Psych was released about this time in 2007. So there's no bigger gap between it and the upcoming than there was between Gourmandises and MCE, and MUCH less than between MCE and Psych.

my god.. how i wish i could live like you! just fly off to Paris for an Alizee concert. but that'll require me having money and randomly leaving college.

think she'll have concerts early 2011? my friend will be living in Nottingham then through a exchange program, and i plan on visiting him.. i don't think i need to say why?

I like all of Alizee's songs. I'm just looking forward for the beautiful music she has in store for us. Any music she makes is the best music.
