New album 2012 - Expectations

Alizée went from her parents to Mylène and the record company, to Jérémy and having a baby. Now she is back home and more or less on her own. She has always had someone to lean on and guide her. Even though she has had experiences most people will never have, she also missed out on many things. She missed out on a lot of the social activities that teenagers experience through school and hanging out with friends. She missed out on developing the independence that early adulthood on one’s own can give. Someone mentioned she is a child at heart and I believe it to be true. This may be the first time in her life that she has had this much independence and she may be making up for lost time. As far as the tattoos are concerned, I see no change in her behavior. She has been getting tattoos for at least 9 years now.

Alizee’s initial reaction may be to rush to find a replacement for the missing “Myène/Jérémy” personality in her life, but I hope she allows herself some time to develop the ”independent Alizée”. She still has her parents and friends to support her. I doubt she will self-destruct, but she may make a few missteps. We should cut her some slack.

Concerning the new album, I wonder just how much Jérémy was involved, considering the questions surrounding Alizée’s and Jérémy’s relationship. Or did the record company produce the whole album? It appears that Alizée and Jérémy produced the last 2 albums and brought them to the record company basically completed. To me, the difference in this album may hinge on who produced it. The right producer and a good promotion can make all the difference.

I think we can expect to see Alizee with at least a couple of more tatoos in the very near future. It just tears me up inside when I see her get one. Back in 2007 when I first found out about her, I brought videos of her into work and I used to tell everyone to look at how incredibly beautiful this young lady was and usually the performances I would be showing are from around june of 2003. This is when I thought she looked her best such as in this performance below (Unbelievably beautiful!). I would tell them there are some women as beautiful as her, but there is no one more beautiful than her; not in my book.

Now I'm getting embarresed to show her videos. I hope they don't notice the one on her arm of Annily that just looks like a big blotch from a distance, not to mention the one on her back that looks so ridiculous, like when she was on the swing in LE. I'd hate to explain why such a beautiful woman would want to do this to herself.

But no matter how many tatoos she gets, it wont have a major affect how well the album does. If it does well, I hope when she makes any videos to go with some of the songs, or if she holds any concerts, that she wears outfits that cover up the tatoos, at least when she's singing the better songs.
She looked great last year in LE when she was wearing the maids outfit. She looked great this year when she wore the flight attendant's outfit. She also looked very good when she wore that wedding dress and the Alsatian outfit, but the looks for the latter 2 could take a big hit with additional tatoos which I think are coming. Hopefully she'll wear outfits now like the one she wore in the ACC video where everything is covered up.

What affect will it have on me if she keeps adding tatoos? I'm not really sure. Let's say she did get back together with MF and LB, something that would be a dream come true for me; something that I'm sure would produce more great songs like the ones from the early years. Would I still listen to her as much? Even though I listen to her much, much more now than I watch her, when I listen to her, in my mind, I see her image as clear as day as if I were watching her and that makes up a huge part of my pleasure of "listening" to her. Now if she performs in concert or in videos, covered with tatoos that aren't very artisticly appealing and just about none of them are at this point, it's going to take a lot away from that listening pleasure, even MF/LB music.

So if her new music is good, but doesn't equal the beauy of the MF/LB music, and in her performances, she lets her tatoos hang out , well I'm sure the appeal her music has to me, will fall way short of what it used to be. I would still probably follow her career very closely, mainly because I'm the type that even if the Red Sox are down by 20 runs in the bottom of the ninth with 2 outs and 2 strikes and Mariano Rivera on the mound, I can not turn that tv off, until it's officialy over.

On her Facebook page. I hate tramp stamps, and I don't know many guys who like them. I do watch porn (oh shut up, I know you guys and gals do too), and almost all the females have tattoos - sort of like branding cattle. It's a personal preference, but I wish she wouldn't promote it to her young, impressionable teen followers.

So the first chance the public can actually see Alizee out in public is going to be at a tattoo convention. Blame her friend who is using her as a graffitti wall.

Yeah and I'm sure she'll add a couple of tatoos, just for the occassion. Me thinks she is not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

I, too, think it's safe to say she will be adding more tattoos in the near future. Let's just hope she stays away from getting the "sleeve" tattoos or anything around the neck area. That may just be enough to end it for me.

I get so torn up inside over what goes on in her life. I feel at times that she has brought so much happiness into my life that I should never say a bad thing about her. Then there are times when I feel she is going so far down the wrong road, that I go off the deep end and bash her mercilessly. Tatoos should be such a meaningless thing, but I see them as an indication that she does not have a clue as to what she is doing or where her career should be going. I also think regardless of whether she's with Jeremy or not, she should be in Paris where the majority of the song writers and musicians are, putting everything she has into making sure this next album is a success.

I don't have an issue with her back tattoo since there is no negative message associated with it. But before long she won't be able to cover them up, and at that point she might want to just show them all off.

I really doubt she will get a tramp stamp or something similar, but if that happens it will be really hard for me to stick with her. I think there is a line between expressing yourself and degrading yourself. I've given her a lot of leeway for the tattoo's since she's been the exception to almost every female artist I've seen. But the mindset to get that sort of tattoo is the line for me.

Britney went nuts and shaved her head and turned into a druggie but those aren't permanent. You can grow your hair back out and stop using drugs.

I doubt it too. It would take a lot more tatoos and a certain type also, but who knows where she is headed?

In the past, on numerous occasions, I often used the word princess in describing her looks. I dont use that anymore.
