The line before that also. Not to sound condescending, but what was meant after "love me, hate me, say what you want about me" seemed pretty obvious, even though I hadn't heard of the song before this remix. Yeah, I guess many in France wouldn't notice, but then I figured Alizée the type to be in the loop. Admittedly, I was paying more attention since she had posted it!

Oh well whatever, I do agree with LL Cool B that she probably just thought it sounded cool. And it does, I like it. Actually, I'm no a Brit fan but the video for this says some interesting things about celebrity that I bet Alizée could identify with. The way Britney emerges from her typical bacchanalia out into the 1950s American dream wouldn't work so well with a less explicit track. I guess there's some art in it after all!

Alizee knows the meaning of the song, may be. But Alizee likes the song, I am doubtful. Its not Alizee who has done the remixing. Obviously its done by someone else and then shown to Alizee. As it was the most suitable song of Britney (Musical point of view) to be mixed with Alizee's and finally came out great, it was liked by Alizee and that's why she posted it. That can be the whole scenario.

If some one says, Alizee likes that Britney's song, I would be surprised.

I think Alizee is getting better and better because she is showing a more human-behind the sceens-side to her that makes her much easier to relate to. I personally think she has a great personality which seems to get better and better as time goes on!

Her current direction is still unclear - all we have are bits and pieces. However, she is definitely testing new waters.

She wants to be loved in France, and she wants to perform in front of crowds that are there for HER. I'm sure she is making the best choices she can. Time will tell if her judgment is as good as her on-stage persona.

So very bizarre and sad. My heart goes out to the passengers, crew and all their loved ones. It sounds like the chances of finding survivors--or indeed, even the plane itself--are fairly slim.
