wow, you really got some money to spend Scruff.
this is a great thing you are doing to help promote her here in the states.
I do have an idea that may help:
many of us try sending requests to many different radio stations and it's only one or two fans per station. Why don't we ALL bombard one radio station at a time to really pressure the stations into playing her music!

Sounds like a good idea. If there are no hurdles in that, then every AAm member should do it.

Hmmm don't wanna ruin it all but are you allowed to use all these songs in such a way? Any copyright infringements and stuff like that? Although a little controversy never hurts

I asked the same thing regarding copyright, and Merci Alizée answered my question a couple of pages back. Short answer: There won't be any problems.

I thought you were going to say that the mention of New York might incense people enough to get them to pay attention, take notice and then they might find they like Alizée. Wow. Sports fans are crazy. If you had already told Alizée you were from Boston when she was talking to the camera at your meeting, she might have said it. Then you could edit the song and shove that in there. How about Vegas? She surely has said that.

So, I'm glad to hear that the video will not represent the sound quality used. You will use album snippets, right? Inferior quality sound does noone any favors.

And for my part, it's only a few parts of the songs that don't make sense or sound weird, like "talking to the bees". Maybe that's like "white night" and means something in French. I will admit that when I first read the lyrics to I'm Fed Up, I thought, surely that is just a translation and not the actual lyrics of an English version. Oh well. After listening 3 times I liked the song. And I think the "mon chou chou" and the giggle makes up for a lot.

As for comments. Well yeah, people have their opinions which differ and they speak them here. If you post, it's to allow discussion to occur. As long as people are being respectful and not trying to carry out a fight or something...

In any case, most of the songs I hear on the radio are at least 10 years old (or feel like they are). If people discover the awesomeness of that earlier Alizée from this, great.

Good luck. I hope it will lift you up if this does get Alizée some attention and not bring you down too hard if it does not. It's an epic fan move for sure.
