Are three of those reasons cause she's famous, pretty, and you don't know how she really acts? Becoming attached as such to someone you don't truly know (not to mention unobtainable) will make you miss out on lots of opportunities. Not liking a lass is plenty understandable, but don't make your standards unrealistic.

The way I see it, the Twilight movies are a watered down, neutered, and teenage-ified version of the Underworld movies mixed in with Jedi powers.

Though.. I have, in fact, read the books

um.. spoiler alert.
So Bella ends up being impregnated with a vicious vampire baby that basically eats its way out of her, and then Jacob falls in love with that said baby. That nearly kills Bella, so she gets turned into a vampire, except that she now has Jedi mind powers too.
