I'm glad I'm not the only one. I would really love it if all of her songs had been made into videos. But, since you said, pick one from each...
It seems like VVV was a good idea, but somehow it just lacked the punch to be more popular, or something like that. I feel like it was right on the cusp. Though, for me it is not what comes to mind when this question arises. It's hard to decide on Gourmandises because I really like Lui ou Toi, but then A quoi rêve une jeune fille ... she is so angelic sounding. I'm going with AQRUJF. I am still waiting for someone to put Mon Maquis into a movie, though. That song just needs to be put somewhere. It has such a different and interesting and "cool" sound. For MCE I'll immediately say Hey! Amigo! You could put that outside with backgrounds of Barcelona and show people meeting with the suggestion of prostitution, etc. But the thing is, all the videos had to be squarely focused on Alizée. The thing was to make people fall into the well of her personality and appeal. They could have done other things with HA and she certainly could have performed it. I always think of her swaying her hips at the opening lines of that song. The way the song moves, there's a lot of opening for a dancing/moving while singing performance. For Tempête, they could have shown Alizée with some wind blowing, on the beach in Ajaccio, maybe some wreckage from a battle or old parts of the city or what ever. They could have made that work, but again, if people start to think about it being a tribute to Napoléon, it becomes abstract. I don't think they wanted abstract. They wanted direct and relatable. Also notice how all the songs with videos were lighthearted or at least affirmative of her life or her strength as an individual? So, since I obviously know exactly what MLA were thinking and have now explained their reasoning ... After seeing some of her moves in the concert, I'm thinking J.B.G. might indeed have made a good video. I think Hollister is particularly thinking of some of the beach scenes from James Bond movies. I concur with your speculation sir. That might be one they just overlooked or they just didn't think it was popular enough. Also, as I've heard they were going to do Amélie, but... And once and for all, RMJ, what's your deal with ACC? I mean is it the meaning of the lyrics that attracted you to the song at first or the music, her singing, the video or just everything at once? (If you have a post somewhere already just point and I'll read it.)

Are you kidding? To this date, I still walk around with that song in my head...trying to sing it best I can. It's more like humming though...
