I think that Alizee actually wouldn't mind if all of a sudden she became popular here in the US, but she has never tried to actually make it happen (i.e. traveling/tours/promotion) and probably never will. It's pretty much letting the nature take its course: if it does happen, then she probably won't try to resist it, but if it doesn't, then it's not the end of the world to her.

On the other hand, I read it somewhere that Alizee likes attention, and likes it a lot. So if enough people here show interest in her, you never know what might happen and she just might change her mind about touring/promoting here in the US.
