Fifty Sixty - An apology
I've probably said it on here before that , while I adore the current album , I always thought that "Fifty Sixty" was one of the weakest tracks. This was in spite of the new video which I think is pretty refreshing and good fun too.
However having the spent the last couple of days driving around the country , enjoying what seems like the first sunshine this year , the song is FANTASTIC to listen to while driving.I just felt it to be an ideal song for rattling along with the windows down and the volume cranked way up. While it will never be my favourite track , "Par Les Paupieres" will always remain undefeated , I've seen the song in a whole new light. This has got me wondering whether anyone else has found the same thing with any other tracks ,where you just need to find the right setting to bring out the best in a song.Alizee or otherwise ? |
