I'm worried about this third album.

I do not have a warm and fuzzy feeling on number three after seeing how poorly Jeremy's second album did. If this has been discussed and is a re-post I apologises.

For some reason I clicked on Jeremy Chatelain on the main page.
About Alizee:
She was married in late 2003 to Jérémy Châtelain, and has since taken a hiatus from singing and appearing in the media.

He hit a high of 107 for two weeks. That is about how well K-Fed did with his last Rap Album. I was under the impression Jeremy was a much better artist and song writer than his album sale seem to imply.

Check out the bottom of the Wikipedia page for his sales on the 2006 release. From what I can tell not one of his 2006 singles hit the top 100.

Perhaps Jérémy simply needs a better performer to perform his music.

I saw this and wasn't sure what to make of it. I looked him up, and his music didn't seem be as bad as those sales insinuated but perhaps the singing did diminish the impact of it a little bit...
Alizée has an amazing voice, and Jéremy does seem to have a talent for writing songs (his voice is what is a little iffy), so the combination of the two should do well. There was also a lot of experience working with them, and I am sure they wouldn't allow them to produce something that wasn't what they considered good enough. So there's no real cause for concern.

I actually like quite a bit of it. Variétes Françaises, Vanessa, Romanichel - are all really great songs.

Albums can't sell as well if they're not available in many places and if they're not advertised as much. Perhaps that was an issue.

Jeremy isn't that skilled of a writer/composer, as say Mylene I think that is part of the reason why is album flopped, his songs doesn't connect with people. I read somewhere that people in France don't even like him that much (me too), in terms of his music anyways. Plus I think his voice is somewhat atrocious,. He will never sell as much albums as Alizee.

I haven't heard to much of his stuff but what I have heard I don't mind to much. I think the album will be just fine :-p
