Wow, exact same fears as I do, to the dot.

Currently, I've been putting some serious thought into what Branch of the Army I want to commission into, and I've been thinking about Transportation.. but then I realized that many of the Soldiers that come back blown up, paralyzed or missing limbs have been wounded by IEDS as they drove around.

I would much rather just simply die than live as a vegetable, or blind. Being blind, to me, would be the biggest handicap. If I couldn't see, I'd be just utterly helpless.. even just the thought of it makes me cringe.

Wasn't there an interview that touched on the subject of driving a bit (in Psych era I believe)? She said how there were some drivers that she would get absolutely furious with when in Paris due to their terrible and rude driving, or something like that. If I find it, I'll post a link. Or if someone else knows what I'm talking about you can.

If you were to choose between being a vegetable (and deaf) or blind, which would you choose?

It's like: Would you rather be able to watch Alizee or listen to her sing?

For me, not considering everything else (i.e. watch sports, surf internet, be able to see your kids grow, etc.), I think I'd rather be blind but able to listen to Alizee.
