No matter what they say.. there's still a part of Lolita inside her heart.

This image of Alizée aswell as her being spun around at the end of this perfomance kinda reminded me of a scene at the end of the movie Ladyhawke another great adventure also well worth watching.
I couldn't find the clip to that one scene.. but it was included towards the end of this vid at the 3:51 to 4:23 minute mark if anyone's interested.

Note: I guess, according to BigDan/Jerome, that Alizée was second overall. If so, then the voting must have gone approximately as follows (my best estimate - there is more than one solution, but this is my best guess): after they add the audience' vote (AV) to the judge's grades (JG) : JG AV Total 8 + 10 = 18 1 - LAETITIA (+2 places) 10 + 7 = 17 2 - ALIZEE (-1 place) 6 + 9 = 15 3 - DAMIEN (+2 places) 7 + 8 = 15 4 - LAURY (= same place) 9 + 6 = 15 5 - BRAHIM (-3 places) 3 + 5 = 8 6 - LAURENT (+2 places) 4 + 4 = 8 7 - TITOFF (= same place) 5 + 3 = 8 8 - TAL (-2 places) 1 + 2 = 3 9 - KEEN V (+1 place) 2 + 1 = 3 10 - NOEMIE (-1 place) = elimination Now we know approximately where she stood in the voting. Edit: By the way, where were Tal's fans when she needed them? Edit: By the way, I have since run possibilities that have Alizée ranging from 5 to 8. So far, in ALL of them LAETITIA and LAURENT had to be 9 and 10 (usually Laetitia was 10). Once I see Week 3 final list (Wikipedia does not list it in their actual order), I will use the information to get a better handle of what the real audience ranking is like, as the audience will tend to vote somewhat consistently for their favorites for the first couple of times. Alizée will win some of them over, but will it be enough to win in the end?

EDIT: It seems the audience dropped a bit since the first episode, from a bit over 6 million, to 5.7 million: Quote:

I find the idea that she'll see, or try to leverage her emotional story into the dance, well, a bit of theater- she's too talented a dancer for that, but- hey- it sells big! She did an awesome job |

I disagree, I think the emotions behind it is real. I think any artist draws from their experiences. One of my criticism of Alizee the past few years ha been that she seems to be walking thru her performances. In the old days we saw Alizee draw from her experiences of a happy kid. as an adult she;s been to reserved. Its been the case since the Psych era. In the interview she said she built a bubble around herself, and it showed in her performances... This last dance and the previous, but especially from this last one, it felt like she was drawing from personal experiences and it shows. Thats why it was excellent. She has yet to find a true partner to bring this out of her and Greg did a great job. She really needs to find collaborators or producers that can do what he did for her. Thank you to all for the data. Alizée really is working hard on the show. She makes dancing looks effortless.
