Default Moi Lolita in 3D - Alizée Holophonic project

Hey people as I was testing my brand new earphones last night I realized how amazingly realistic the "3d audio" or holophonic technology really is with a quality headset.

If you don't already know what that is, have a listen. (make sure to boost the bass and increase the volume)

:

The good news is that there's a way to make all Alizée's songs holophonic as long as we have both the acapella and the instrumental !

So here's my question, is there any way to get any of alizée's original acapellas?

I've listened to that Virtual Barbershop before. Gives me goosebumps every time the scissors come close to the ear . And that whispering at the end.

That is called ASMR and there is a whole community dedicated to it. Bunch of whisperers, role players and so on.

Thanks for the info Lili4ever. That sounds very interesting to me. I found the Wikipedia article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autonom...idian_response

When talking about whispering, It does really feel awkward when listening to the whispering part of Mon Taxi Driver

Is this anything like Virtual Room Effect?
The DSP Manager on my phone has that setting available, with 4 room types. Studio, Room, Large Room and Stage. Playing around with it some and it sounds good even with my crappiest headphones

Not exactly the same, I guess. This is something related to the stereo-ness of the sound. It gives the listener the sense of the direction and distance which the sound is coming from and so so. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stereophonic_sound

^ Yup, that's especially awesome while watching horror movies because you feel like hearing voices whispering inside your head

I don't think It is possible to obtain the original acapellas. (unless you contact the audio engineers of those songs) But I think there is a way to extract the acapellas from a song... like this

I believe there are a couple acapellas from the Psych album, but somebody mentioned that some effects were applied to them or left on, making them difficult to work with for remixes and such. Forgive the lack of music lingo, I'm paraphrasing what I remember reading n an old thread a long time ago
