where to buy?

Does anybody here know where I can buy Alizée's music in here in montreal? I can't seem to find any stores. I'm getting sick of having to listen to her music on the internet. any help would be appreciated.

The most popular place as far as I've noticed is Amazon.fr (you may find the discs on Amazon.ca or Amazon.com if you prefer). However, I don't know of any retailers in Montreal that would be able to get them for you.

I got Gourmandises, Mes Courants Electriques, and the En Concert CD through HMV. If you've got one there it is worth a call but I recommend staying away from them if you can possibly order from Amazon. HMV was extremely slow.

I wanted to avoid purchasing of the internet but amazon seems ok.

what? montreal doesn't have francophone music in stores? or just alizee?

Amazon.com is the way to go, I think. You can also check at any large music stores in your area; I found that some Barnes & Noble Book Stores sell her CDs (do you have B&Ns out there

?). If not, some stores will offer to order the CDs for you if you ask. If all else fails, there's always Ebay

There's not a lot in Montreal, but if you make the trip over to Quebec, you might have a better time. There are a few used record stores near the edge of the walled city on the opposite side of the city from the river, and lots of Archambaults.

they certainly don't have Her music in futurshop or any other stores like that. I was pretty surprised when I found that out but it seems that francophones here prefer English music though I don't know many francophones.

that's odd. i thought most people speak french there (or at least french is their primary language). perhaps you oughta buy it off iTunes or if you want the physical disc, one of the online vendors. i bought mine from tower records website (tower.com), it was the cheapest of all online vendors when i bought it.

There are many more french people then english but I live in a english neighborhood. I'll give Tower records a look.
