Alizée has the wind at her sails

We knew her from a very young age with the irritating (?) "Moi... Lolita" (Roman: my guess because it was played ceaselessly for some time - really freaking catchy in France! or my translation is just bad) and we find her some years and three albums later in grand form, you know who we're talking about, we're talking about Alizée.

The young woman will indeed return to the scene at the end of 2009 with a forth studio album succeeding her Psychédélices, birthplace of the hits "Mademoiselle Juliette" and "Fifty Sixty". We don't know more on the subject for the singer has declared it a surprise for everyone: "For a few weeks I have been working on my new album, which will be different from anything I have been able to do up to now. I am eager to present it to you ...". We can't wait to hear it!

This new press is encouraging.....it's nice to know some of the media still pay attention to her.

But I can't help it... Bloody worn out two of the Psych albums and I can't count the numbers of the others... Wife still laughs at me, step-daughter still thinks its funny...

but I love her music...

This is indeed good news, but I am also a bit saddened as I won't be able to whisk off to France again in the event of another autograph signing. But I suppose this is a good sign that there will be more to come

anyone else feel as if Alizee's voice, at least when she sings, sounds much more high pitched than the old days? back then, she had a nice deeper sensuous(

) voice.. whereas in the clip of her performing L'Alize recently, it seems more high and such?

maybe it was just that clip?

I know what you mean, we can see it in the concerts, but what I think is that back in the old days she had an excellent job crew that had vocalist teachers. Since she is on "her own" I guess she doesnt have the orientation and help that Mylene gave her previous a concert. So yeah miss that great voice

lets hope this new album brings back some of that classic Alizee
