Basic training and tech school were good times! Didn't it pissed you off after all that BS that you find out your DI's were only E-3 sergeants (back then when E-3's were able to rank sergeant) with power trips?

Funniest line have heard lately! If I remember correctly, it's against UCMJ from them to physically touch you. The thing is, you don't really learn of the UCMJ until after the fact. But that really doesn't prevent them from finding other creative means to torment you.

oh that movie...granted it is a good movie i still hate it and that was the only scene i enjoyed watching.

The fact that a code like that even has to exist just shows how royally fucked up the military system is (all countries, not just the US).
