when you watch all these Alizee imitators, you realize how talented she is. None of them comes close in singing or dancing or anything else.

She has the moves down but this is where 14 years of dance and having a professional choreographer is invaluable. Alizée had it down to the point she could do it in her sleep. The sudden jerky moves this young lady has is from learning this from the video and not someone walking her through the routine step by step. Alizée makes it look so easy when in reality it is a pretty complicated production.

I'd bet it was two or three days before Alizée was doing the routine in its entirety. And then she worked with the choreographer for days or even a week or two just working on making it look so smooth and flawless.

The title says 15yo but she looks younger... Her pelvic bone might not be wide enough to imitate Lili's moves. And she sings for real in this performance, you can hear that she's quickly out of breath .

I don’t think the dancing is that bad, actually. Also, one has to take into consideration that she is singing live, so it is much harder to just concentrate on the choreography. Take away the stress and demands of live singing and allow this amateur to hone the dancing and she would have been quite good at it, I’m sure.

One thing that I have always noticed is that the JEAM choreography seems less aesthetically pleasing when performed by a taller woman (especially with long arms), even if quite well executed:

You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. You act as though no one is allowed to sing or dance like your precious goddess. You watch Alizée's videos so often that, when anyone else dares to imitate her, you point out every single flaw. Instead of appreciating this girl for keeping Alizée in the public's eye, you tear her down for even trying. Let's see if any of you can do better.

Hmmm, I don’t think that the views expressed here were all negative. I, for one, emphasized the fact that the girl presented in the present thread, given the right conditions, would be quite good at it and I included a link to another JEAM performance (by Stéphanie) where I call her dancing “impressive” and “brilliant”.

i think she was really cute and did a good job. She could have projected her voice a bit more, but that may have been a malfunction of the audio or the mike being used. I heard a lot of "in between" breaths which should not be heard if the sound was mixed correctly. All in all, it was a good performance. Bravo!

The girl was great but I have memories of a time there was a young girl who must have been about 15 and she was running to me. OK that was the Moi.. Lolita video but it was pure and it was life.
