Sounds like a friend of mine... he didn't much care for U2, then he saw them in concert and got to go inside the Bono Elipse, and was right in front when Bono reached out and grabbed his hand. It might have been for just a split second but he was so star struck afterwards, he was like "I'm never going to wash this hand again!"
