Just a suggestion -- advice like this or expressions of preference need to be provided earlier in the cycle. At present, word has it Alizée has finished laying down the vocal tracks for the new album and it's in mixing/finishing stage. If that's true, then the composition of it is already set, and there's no way she can incorporate any of your ideas or preferences at this point unless she already did.

It sounds like she took the advice she was given by a number of people and produced a theme album; I love Psychédélices but it's somewhat scattershot, with many different styles. Focusing on a single type of music will give her the opportunity to make something that will be hugely loved by a large number of people -- you have to accept that it won't be for everyone.

In a way, one could say that Psychédélices was Alizée's first album rather than her third: the first she produced herself, the first done under her own authority rather than as Mylène Farmer's protegée. For a first effort, I think it was awesome, but I believe the next one will be better still.

I agree, though keep going because she can use idea's in the next album.
Might I add that I want some more of MCE style in the upcoming albums.

Well this thread's been around since the disc was first announced in early March, I just recently moved and re-named it. Sorry if there was any confusion. It's also for our own discussion, as well as a place to collect miscellaneous bits of news. I just added/updated the little index in the first post.

Also yeah, there's always album #5.
But personally, I can't think of anything cooler than a concept disc!

If the album is already in the mixing stage, I would guess the album will be out sooner rather than later. Definitely before 2010 and, probably, by summer. It would also depend on the record company and their schedule.
