I've done a lot of work with translations of her songs and it looks like your very familiar with working with subtitles . Trying to come up with subtitles of something in a foreign language is a challenge, because in a song, they choose many words that rhyme and many words that flow well together and when you do a translation, you lose most of that, but you want your translated version to sound as good as good as the original song, so you have to make compromises. You try to stay true to that story too, but you have to decide is it better to tell the exact story or to change it up a bit for the sake of quality. So you wind up making changes that you feel yourself makes for a good sounding story in the traanslated language.
Another very difficult part of translating songs from other languages are things like idioms. In this country we have an expression "break a leg", which is actually a way of wishing a performer good luck! First of all, when I tried playing the file in Google drive, even though the "CC" button was highlighted, no matter what I tried, I could not get it to turn on the captions. So I downloaded the video and the subs and watched it with VLC and the quality of the text for the subs looks very good. As far as translations; First song, L'Alizé, which stands for the trade wind that Alizée was named after. In France, everything has a gender. the trade wind Alizé, which by the way I believe blows through parts of Africa and the Caribbean, is male in gender. To get the female version of that name you add e and thus you get Alizée. First two longs, I see trouble already Tous les vents, Balayent les mots de coeur All the winds sweep the heartaches is the translation you are using. It seems to be missing something such as it should say it sweeps the heartaches from the soul, or if you use the Collins dictionary, their translation is "Sweep the words of the heart", but I think a better way to say it would be sweeps the words from the heart. I'm quite sure de can me of or from. Next line; I'm like the wind......which is fine The next line is tough; "L'esprit à mille à l'heure,".....The spirit at a thousand an hour. I'm fairly certain what they mean is the wind they just spoke of is a thousand kilometers an hour, but for the sake of making it sound good, they left the kilometer to be understood. So for the translation, is it best to stick with the same style such as again, "The spirit at a thousand an hour" or would it be better to change it to "The spirit of a thousand miles an hour", which does not sound that bad? Next line; I judge much too fast no doubt......I would drop the 'much'. Next line;" C'est ok, tant pis". The translation you used said "It's okay, no problem". Now the no problem isn't a bad interpretation of tant pis, but I believe it means "too bad" which I'd rather see in there, but I think I'd want to add an even at the end, "too bad even". At this point, I have errands to run and will get back to this later, that's if you found what I've said so far helpful?

This is not my translations.I used copy paste to do that.I am aware that they are not perfect,but this is an open project for anyone to improve translation and convert it into a readable form for the benefit of us all.
I'm not the right person to do this. Watching subtitled videos is much better. you can see more details.For example 00:54:46 Alizee sings (... im not pretty...) and the audience's reaction to that made her laugh. Well she sang the French version during En Concert, then others including me, dubbed the English audio over the French.
She pretty much said the same thing in French, "J'suis pas belle" which means I'm not beautiful and one of the main reason she laughed was at the same time she sang, I'm not beautiful, a fan held up a sign saying "Tu'es Belle".....you are beautiful. https://youtu.be/ob5Dd7j_Pzk?t=91 belle.jpg I think everyone in here realizes the song Amelie was based on a movie about a fictional character (Amelie) who lived in Paris and worked as a waitress at a restaurant in Montmartre area of Paris.
