This performance + interview still one of my favorites. She looked absolutely beautiful and natural and I liked how she performed this song, her voice and how she fooled around. She really had fun on stage. And that smile when she was introduced by the presenter...

The facial expression and smile at the 5:00 minute mark is my favorite.

I think my favourite performance would have been this one in Spain if it wasn't for the poor quality of the video. This was the time period where she had turned from a pretty teenager into an incredibly beautiful young woman. I think she looked stunning in that black outfit and I think it would have been awesome to have seen her with those flames in the background if the resolution was better. I tried contacting 'Canal 2' to see if they might have the original tape, but it was an exercise in futility.
Another one of my favourites is her performance of J'en ai marre during Festivalbar in Pistoia, Italy. She looked spectacular again plus the beautiful setting made this one special. This is a place I visited on one of my vacations. There looks to be only one video posted of this performance on Youtube and it's not that good a quality, so I'm posting a Google drive link below it for those who'd like to see it in a better quality..... https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DX6...ew?usp=sharing Another one of my favourites was her performance of J'ai pas vingt ans in front of the Eiffel tower. On this occasion, the emcee interviewed her after she sang the song and it was during this interview that there were some spectacular images of her seen. The whole song and interview was over 7 minutes long and this is one of her videos I watch on a regular basis, but I didn't want to watch the whole 7 minutes every time, so I merged some clips from the interview, into the performance and I really enjoyed the results. I'll post a video of the entire performance and interview, then my merged video after it. But I think overall, I'd have to say Moi Lolita in Amsterdam is my favourite. Maybe it's because its how I discovered 'her' music. She danced with such poise and confidence and she was only 16. The audience loved her and she fed off that and another reason I loved it was it featured the best of Laurant Boutannat's music. |
