9/9/09 is a special date though for us Soshies.
9 girls, 9 weeks, 9 awards.

Of course it's not going to be released on that day.
Psh, how can you forget? On 9/9/09 the Beatles remasters are released. And in mono AND stereo no less!! Nothing can compete with that

Eh, that's number 3 for me.
Behind Soshi Day and Ensiferum's "From Afar".
Not to mention Beatles Rockband comes out this month as well, and Sonata Arctica's "The Days of Grays"!

Best month EVER!

anywho there is no official release date
Yeah, her label Jive/Epic tweeted to Psychalizee.net that it is planned for November. I would agree that this is not an official release date. Things could still change and no exact date was given, nor was this information released in an "official" manner. Still, it comes from her label, so I would imagine it's better than a rumor, but definitely not official.

@Puffy, so I assume you going to buy the Beatles box set. I'm just curious, are you buying the mono or stereo? What do you know about the remastering of the stereo set?

As we near the impending release of a preview single and eventually Album, I would like to go on record as stating a prediction. Based on her recent style and associations, I think this album will very dark, heavy and dare I say...Funky. The casket will be sealed on the Alizee we once knew. Now I'm not saying this is a bad thing, I'm just putting it out there.

If you are still on the Ass Shaking Lolita train, you need to get off at the next station, and run across the platform to the the train that departs this fall, ...in an entirely different direction (IMO)

A funky Alizee release would be right up my alley. Since Psychedelices wasn't the smash we all hoped, i'm not sure what to expect this time around. I don't know if she'll try and make a similar album....i have a feeling she might be going in a more electro-oriented direction though. Electronic seems to be taking over organic these days.

does it really matter? If it's Alizée I'd gladly buy an album, even if it was country or gregorian chantings.

That's true. Whether the music changes or not, it's still the same person singing it, so there are bound to be at least some things we recognize and like. But im not sure if it will be as funky as we fear it will be. After all she only started using her "musical legs" in Psych and although it was not her best, it was a good album. I think she has and will continue to improve, and make better and better albums as she goes.

What kind of electronica are we talking about here?
Don't think we'll be seeing any kind of techno hybrids á la Sash, September, Kate Ryan.

Wouldn't mind if she went Melissa Mars on me however.

Or why not some Soul, Alicia Keys works for me aswell.

Oh man... This is exciting!
This will be the best christmas gift ever!!!!!!!!
