This makes me smile: The fact that our local, amateur, waterski team just whupped the Chinese National Team. And our guys and gals don't even have a sponsorship, and their home turf is frozen solid half the year. Farm kids ftw!

I may or may not have posted about Jazz Band before. Here is a list of typical antics pulled by my jazz band class of about ten people and Stout, the school band director:

-Ordering pizza to the school
-Going outside during school hours to play football
-Having a raffle drawing of random items Stout found in his office
-Crowding into Stout's tiny office to watch funny videos on YouTube
-Going through Stout's iTunes library, also in his tiny office
-Watching Stout check Facebook and look at funny pictures his friends post
-A small field trip during which we all walked to the Hardee's down the street and got burgers

I just love my school. This whole year has basically been a combination of excruciatingly hard work and just goofing off and doing whatever I please with no consequences. You gotta wonder how my high school experience will affect my adult life.
