Last night a reality star's fans waged a twitter hate campaign against Alizée for a few hours. Here are a few articles about it, the first one seems to me to be a good summary.

I wonder if this is a scandal stirred up just for publicity by Capucine Anav who is trying to advance her career beyond reality TV. I'm not saying I know anything solid, I'm just wondering because the accusations are so catty they don't fit the Alizee we all know.

When we look at the official Facebook page of that upcoming event, we can see people complaining that they paid money to see Alizée and Gregoire, and now all of a sudden Capucine Anav "has invited herself" to that show aswell. So when that happened, those in charge decided to remove Capucine's name and photo from the poster of the event.

That's when realityTV hit the fan. Or however the saying goes.



There's a surprising amount of support for Alizée in this... pseudoscandal.
People really don't seem to like Capucine.
The hashtag on Twitter was extremely immature.
It was just too much.
A Pyrrhic victory for Capucine's fans.

It still sounds very confusing to me. I tried looking at the different sites Ray listed and the Bing translate certainly didn't add any clarity to the situation.

So this originally was a workshop for A and G and Capucine just invited herself? Yet her name got put on the poster, so I would think she must have gotten the okay of the sponsor? Is Capucine an accomplished dancer in addition to being a reality star? Why else would she want to go if she isn't? It would have to be to steal some of the lime light. You would think nobody else would "drop in" unless it had the okay of A,G. It all does sound bizarre.

This was the main point made in that first article that got my attention.

In reality, it is rather the clients of the workshop that would have made it clear to the organization that the former candidate of Angels (Capucine ) was not welcome

Spoiled nobody saw an opportunity to get her name in the news and as far as I'm concerned she did more damage to her own reputation or her fans did over this whole brouhaha.

I don't know her and never heard of her but this whole fiasco made Capucine look like a spoiled bitch that didn't get her way.

My take on it could be wrong, but DanceConceptEvent seems to be a promoter putting these dance 'classes' together for profit. (They also are doing some with other DALS pros.) I guess they are getting paid too. I think Capucine was going to be there in some way but not as an instructor. Paying students would still have been taught by A&G. And I doubt Alizée had any say or concern about it. I also don't get the impression that Capucine had anything to do with the behavior of her fans in this case, I think they just decided their idol had been mistreated and went to Twitter on their own.

And I also suspect that Grégoire does most of the dance instruction, since he has done that for years, and that Alizée probably adds some comments in.

I can't imagine this issue will have any effect on Alizée anyway since the number of people that will even know or care about it is quite small.

It's easily understandable why A&G wouldn't want someone else there when I'm sure they originally thought they would be the main draw. If some celebrity decides to attend at a late moment, there might be a lot of people who show up to see the crasher, taking away tickets from people going for the work shop and that could prove embarrassing for A&G or anyone else put in a similar position. I'm sure no celebrity in their right mind would put up with that.

The instructor also needs a knowledgeable partner who can show off the woman's steps since they're different. So he'd need a partner anyway, and what better partner than Alizée!
