You make it sound like she wasn't born beautiful, but had to make herself beautiful, which would have to be like so many other celebrities do by applying layers of make up, fancy ear rings, hair styles that take hours to prepare, plucked eye brows, etc.

Haha. Actually, I think what he's trying to say is that she's a goddess

ughh I absolutely hate piercings. And tattoos too, for that matter. I've always felt that it ruins the natural image. Even though it's obviously not always the case, I feel that it makes the person seem sluttier. And for the guys with piercings, it just comes off to me as them trying too hard to be noticed. I honestly think Alizée is the only person I would not hate for having both piercings and tattoos. It's hard for someone like me to break free of my biases, but if I had to make an exception for someone, Alizée would be the one. Piercing or no piercing, she's undeniably awesome.

Whenever I see anyone with facial piercings, I think about lyrics from a Pantera song that used to crack me up:

"You know when it rains you're in your bed at home
You act so real when you are alone
You better not let the mohawked crowd see
Give it five years, you'll retire your piercings
You must admit that you mimic the weaklings"

Agreed

But yes, I also agree that tatooing and piercing one's body to "enhance" one's image(in American celebrities cases, "sex appeal") is nasty and sort of going against how God created that person. God made them in his image and they shouldn't ruin it or enhance it. Natural Beauty FTW!!!

And btw this argument/discussion will go on forever since there is also the side that says they are just trying to express themself....pointless point of you ask me

Alizee is an exception though

I have no problem with her tattoos. The only piercing she had that I think was truly ill-advised is the tongue stud, and only because she's, you know, a singer -- and it's hard to articulate properly with one of those damned things.

But evidently she came to the conclusion herself that she no longer wanted the piercings and removed them, not just the tongue piercing but all of them, except earrings, and that's cool. (Note that even people who don't like piercings don't seem to have a problem with earrings, but those are piercings, too. It's all about what you're used to.)

Alizée's tattoos all have a magical purpose. They're shamanic, and part of who she is. They're not just decoration. I'm sure that's a big part of why I like them.

I didn't know this, I only knew about her chin piercing.
Are there any pictures of her where you can see her lip and/or tongue piercing?

See, that' what I don't understand, do people actually find people with tattoos and/or piercings more appealing?
(I won't even go in the God aspect of it, cause I know we'll disagree.)

You can just catch the tongue piercing at 1:27, and from then on as long as you pay attention you can keep seeing it. I know there's a pretty clear photo out there of it, but I'm too lazy to look for it.

Come to see, I just noticed she has multiple earrings in their right ear

I was implying that She is god.

That may be true, but I think the reason earrings are more acceptable in the first place is because they don't obstruct the facial area. For example, when I look at a picture of Alizée and she's wearing earrings, my eyes aren't drawn to them. But in the picture with her labret piercing, I can't help but notice it.
