It was definitely playback. They even did a dry run of the song before Alizée and her musicians came on stage.

But yeah, either way it's easily the best MJ performance to date, and I don't just say that because we were there!

does she carry that couch around everywhere? i think it was the same couch (albeit with several cushions) on bonnie and clyde show too. she's only 23 and she needs to take breaks during the song to sit down?
