Default Alizée and Karen Mulder L E 2001

I bought the 2001 Les Enfoires dvd lately, in fact I bought all the ones for the years that Alizee was in, that I didn't already have. So I watched 2001 and there was tall beautiful woman who was one of the singers in the show. At first I thought it might be Vanessa Paradis, but she didn't quite fit the image, so I looked up who she was and she's a Dutch singer/model named Karen Mulder. She's appeared in Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue a couple of times along with numerous fashion magazines.

In the show, they just appeared together at the end when everyone was singing.

The year after that show she tried committing suicide by taking an overdose of pills.

But what really caught my attention was in an interview, she said Prince Albert of Monaco tried to rape her. Now this is the same Prince that Alizée has seen a couple of times. Maybe we should give her some warning in case she sees him again.

He better watch out though. She packs a pretty good kick!

That's great to hear. Alizée donated a lot of her time through the years for that charity and I'm sure she appreciates when her fans purchase the DVDs.

Most of them aren't very expensive and are available at Amazon.fr.

For anyone else who wants to make Alizée happy, here are the years Alizée participated and links to each DVD:

This is a great idea. I think I will start building my collection.

Maybe a dumb question, but can somebody from the US order them from the links you provide? Everything is in French and payment is in Euros, and shipping costs that are displayed are most likely not international rates. Is this how you got your copies?

How would you all rank them as far as face time for Alizee? If you have two or three picks for your favorite years, what would they be?

I had 2011, 12 and 13 before I made my recent purchases. Later on I'll post the prices I paid plus where I got them from and shipping cost. I ordered all I believe from Amazon USA and Amazon France. With Amazon France, I'm not sure if it's true with all web browsers, but with Google chrome, when you go to Amazon France, you can right click on the page and it gives you the option to translate the page. Of course there are other retailers out there, so shop around.

I haven't gone through them all yet, but I think 2011 was a great year for her. In 2012 and 2013 she also had a good amount of participation. 2013. In 2001, she didn't get much face time. I think her main roll was singing Rockollection. Price wise, I think it was 2002 which was the most expensive with the cost being about double the others.

Like I said, I'll posts the prices I paid later.

Several days ago, I was looking for the song 'Metro' that was performed in the show one year when I came across this video of fans who were either going to or coming from the show, singing the theme song which I found amusing.

Thanks. Much appreciated.

I have enjoyed the LE video clips with Alizee that have been posted, but after watching LE 2011 in its entirety (many times over), I found the whole event entertaining. I can see where one would make the trip to attend it live.

Right off the bat I have to mention these dvds are in the European PAL format. I"m sure they'll play find on your computer, but if you plan on playing them on the big screen through a dvd player, you might want to check first that it plays that format.

Here are the prices I paid....

I bought 3 discs through Amazon France and 2 through E Bay France
Year Cost Shipping Total Euros Total U.S. dollars
2001 9.89 Eu 8.99Eu 18.89 24.29
2002 35 Eu 10.00 Eu 45.00 57.90
2008 4.99 Eu 3.89 Eu 8.88 11.43
----- From E bay -----
2009 $12.30 $11.16 23.46
2010 $9.52 free 9.52

I don't know why 2002 cost so much more. Maybe there are fewer of them available?
I'm not sure why the second Ebay disc had free shipping, it came from the U.K, as opposed to the other E Bay one (France).
There are some package deals out there too where you can buy several together. Also if you could find a retailer who has them all, as opposed to Amazon who in this case, got them through different sellers, you'd save money. With Amazon. They did not give me the option to have them all shipped together.

I found 2012 on Amazon (US) from a book store, new condition, for $7.00. It was the only one at that price I could find. I paid $3.99 for shipping, so for $11 I think I got a great deal on a new DVD.

Thanks Scruffy for the prices you paid. It will give me a good reference point as I work on getting the others.

I'm hoping that I can rip them into mpg files so I can store them on my Alizee media hard drive.
