Well, if anyone has any other video of Alizée dancing flamenco, I would be interested.

Yes. For starters it would have been nice to at least have seen her portion of this uninterrupted.

And what's going on regarding the dynamics between her and the guy? He seems to totally ignore her at the end. Is there a story behind that?

The editing could not have been worse. Atrocious! One has to wonder about the decision to cut some of the most important (difficult?) transition moves.

The guy is singer/actor Patrick Bruel and I don’t think this sort of thing is his cup of tea.

Yes, this is probably the best example of her dancing in the past 6 years, and I wish we had a better video of it.

To me, the most amazing part of the JEAM dance is the exquisite and flawless use of the hands, obviously taken from knowledge of Flamenco. This dance in the red dress was a wonderful treat for those of us who miss that part of her show. Of course, if it's a choice between singing and dancing, I'll take the singing.

Oh, and I've watched that video a few times and everyone looks like they are having a good time. I noticed no strangeness between Lilly and Patrick at all, just the normal suggestive acting involved with a dance like that.

I used the "cup of tea" expression, but what I really meant to say was "forte". I didn't want to imply that Patrick Bruel had a problem with doing this or that he did not get along with Alizée, just that he is not that good at doing this sort of thing.
