That's true, but let's be realistic - Taylor Swift is a huge star. I don't care for her music but she definitely has a big presence in the mainstream. She can afford to have her album pushed back by several months and still sell big - which she did. Alizee has not enjoyed nearly as much success as Taylor has in the last five years or so. The fact that her album has been pushed back several times, coupled with the fact that the album is not being super-hyped in the first place... I guess I'm worried that people are going to lose interest. My point is that people will buy Taylor's albums no matter what - Alizee has been out of sight and out of mind to the general public for a very long time, and she is going to have to earn a position in the spotlight again.

That's all completely my own opinion, I don't know how these things work so my guess that this is not good news is basically a slightly educated/passing familiarity guess.

I also completely understand what you mean about being patient, but at this point we've been promised several release dates (albeit general) which have since been retracted and pushed back. I would say that by now we have reason to be a bit impatient. To me this comes off as unprofessional, and I really hope it doesn't impact sales negatively.

Anyway, I like that album cover.

March 25th makes more sense. It will be very close to the airing on TV of LE. As she needs the album to start selling, and KEEP selling, in order to make the needed impression, theis seems like a good date.

Here is one way it might unfold:
- Another single release just prior to the album release.
- Then the album release.
- It has it's initial surge, them may start to taper down.
- While it is still on the list, LE is aired nationwide.
- At about this time, the single, a few appearances and interviews, combined with some well placed advertizing puts her out there.
- Millions are reminded how nice Alizée is and "notice" that she just released a new album, resulting in another album sales surge.

Sounds like a good plan to me. What do you think?

The release of "5" has delayed again...
It will be released on 25th MARCH, 2013.
I can't believe this...

Btw yes, Taylor Swift is a "huge star" but I NEVER have heard anything from her But it was only 4 months delay...not 5

I hope till March they will release an other single from the album. Btw I realized that if the album were released on 25 February it would be exactly 10 years after JEAM
