Mystery Team
While probably not having the biggest budget for this movie, I think DerrickComedy did a pretty good job in making Mystery Team. It was funny and has some of those good one-liners that people like to repeat from movies. I'd really like to see what these guys could do with a little more money or even expand and go forward into hollywood. If you like what they do on YouTube then you can appreciate this movie. At the least, its a renter.

Iron Man 2.
I think it was decent, though I was really really disappointed with the final fight. Seriously, it was kind of pathetic.

I think where they screwed up iron man most was that they introduced waaay too many characters... I think they should have dropped Samuel Jackson and that shindiz all together, and developed Mickey Rourke more

Wasn't the final fight of the first one not that great either?

I liked it. But I agree that the final fight in the second could have been better. I wanted to see more action from War Machine

Saw Prince of Persia today... I wish I hadn't.
It lacks any sort of plot, and throughout the movie elements are quite literally explained flat out (Jake Gyl-santahatthong literally explains how the dagger works after his first time using it, Ben Kingsley is the bad guy (shocker), etc) The fight scenes are often and scripted enough to perhaps keep a 12 year old entertained... but certainly no one else

Another Vote for Mystery Team
Quote:
Jalen - thanks for the word about "Prince of Persia". Have you seen "The Fall"? Or Dr. Parnassus? Has this already been discussed here? |

We watched Cry Freedom in Government and Il Postino in AP Spanish Lit. I like both movies, Cry Freedom is about the oppressive South African government of the old days, and a freedom fighter, and the owner of a newspaper who work together to let the world know of the terrible crimes of their government. I liked Il Postino better, it was an old school Italian film (in Italian duh) about a postman who gets to deliver the mail to the great poet Pablo Neruda while he stays in Italy. I loved the film, the postman falls desperately in love with a girl and asks the poet to help him with love poems for her.
