George had an interesting idea. So, borrowing the idea, I thought I would see how interest in Alizée compared with a few other artists. (Note: I excluded Tal because the results looked "off".)

I'll let the graph speak for itself.

I wasn't aware that there was a drop-down menu in the search term field, that's more accurate. It's clear that the accented é plays a major role here. I think "Musical Artist" gives the graph of what people actually searched for, not what they typed (e or é).

That may be because "TAL" is an extremely common term, adding "singer" option gives a legit graph. Alizée is a pretty uncommon name by the look of it.

Well "tal" means "such" in Spanish

But I don't think that one in particular is a common search term

Haha no it's not like that. When talking about search terms, there's a loooong list of different tals.

And if you search "Tal" in google, most of the results you get are irrelevant stuff.

Oh, no. It looks like yesterday her IG followers leveled off and today there was a decrease of 23 followers. What could be the cause of this? Why would someone unfollow Alizée?

That's really odd, is it that the Followers were just a few more than the Unfollowers yesterday?

Hope this doesn't happen again tomorrow.

She was back up a bit this morning, and up some more tonight. I'd just never seen her go negative. As far as I can tell from using Instagram, there aren't many new people interested in her right now. I can see fan pages losing followers as they get bored with the same things/reposts all the time, but I'd think that fans would still be interested in things posted by Alizée. If she posted more often.

Another possibility is that 'fake' or spam accounts were deleted by IG/FB. Or maybe she blocked some people herself.
