Duh! I was joking. Why isn't there a way to put sarcastic undertones in text?

As far as music, films and American culture 1965-1975 is a magic decade for me. I was born too late. Much too late.

Years are mortally-formed.
Every day is every day indeed.
There is no luck when it comes to different years, nor any change.
All it is are markers and tags for certain points in time.

Traditionally for the past 100 yrs in pop culture everything had went by decades ending at the 9s and starting a the zero.
Also if you want to get technical, If you count all the extra days from leap yr throughout history you have more than your extra year Wether you beleive in yr 0 or not you lose either way!

Hey I don't know the technical calendar stuff, but in English the word "decade" means any period of ten years.

If you want to call January 1st 2000 to January 1st 2010 a decade, that's correct.
2001 to 2011 is also a decade. And heck, so is something crazy like 2003 to 2013.

So... you're all right.

the extra day in leap year accounts for the 6 hours extra from every year that isn't in the 365 days

there are 8766 hours in a year but 365 days only alots for 8760 hours therefor there is an extra 6 unaccounted for hours which every four years is made up in an extra day

if you didn't do that winter would eventually end up in June
