Just pretend the limited edition quad-fold CD+DVD was $40, and the shipping only $5. It feels more justifiable :-)

I'm surprised and delighted, personally, that the LE is so inexpensive.

Why? I wouldn't expect it to be cheaper when it releases (if anything I'd expect a preorder to be cheaper) and the quad-fold CD/DVD digi pack is limited edition, 20,000 copies, but still limited. I wouldn't mess around too much about it, just in case. Also, at least in the segment of the game industry that I'm most familiar (I don't know if it transfers to music though), pre-sale numbers are some of the most important.

$ 45.00 is about what I paid for the most recent edition from Nightwish, 'Dark Passion Play.' It was a 'Special Edition' as well; 2 CDs with one of which was the strictly instrumental version. It depends in years to come the value of such. To be determined. Some can get rather pricely at times though. For instance, 1985 original Baltimora CD = about $ 340.00 nowadays. There's one 1990 CD by Mireille Mathieu I want that's going for anywheres from $ 120 to $ 140.00. Have to save up.

I went back and ordered two more copies of the Limited Edition.

I just thought about it and remembered the old saying
"You snooze you lose".

I feel 20,000 copies are just too few to mess around procrastinating.

If Alizée sells 500,000 CD's these 20,000 Special Edition's are just 4% of the sales.

On December 3rd they may become as rare as getting Hanna Montana concert tickets at face value.

I'll probably opt for the regular cd since I'm a broke student.

Have to save my $ for her next concert of course
