Moi... Lolita's Tenth Anniversary!

I have been thinking about this for a few days. In all the excitement of the past few days, most of Alizée's American fans have (understandably!) been caught up in only talking about the signing of our albums. But if you check your calender, you may notice we have only 3 months before the tenth anniversary of Alizée's first and most successful single, Moi... Lolita! I would love if we could celebrate this milestone somehow, but I am fresh out of ideas! Maybe send a great thank you gift to Alizée for ten years of magic? Post any ideas! And doc, maybe you could help bring it to her attention through your connections?

Nah seriously. I wonder if she's going to be doing anything, like re-releasing the song all techno'd out or something on a record with her face on it.

Thanks. Really, though, we must think of something! I want to keep this thread mostly serious. If anyone thinks this is a stupid idea, you are perfectally entitled to, but if you really do have a good idea, post it! I haven't been around for the full ten years, but in the 3 short months since I discovered Alizée, having seen her amazing videos, hearing her amazing music, and seeing all she has done for her fans, I feel like I have been with her for ten years! She deserves us to do something really great! I am by no means creative, so I can't do much, but plenty of people here are really talented! And we could do something amazing, if we put our heads together!

well Sir Wood started a thread about a possible AAm gathering in NY, maybe we could do that on the day of the anniversary
