Alizée's Injury!
This may have been mentioned in another thread, but it should be in the news forum too, so I am posting it now.
As we know, Alizée appeared in this year's "Masked Singer," and she did well. She was actually supposed to be in the show last year. It looks like she put her monkey costume on and tried to monkey around by jumping on her agent's back, but he was unaware of her intentions and they fell backward and she hit her head quite hard. She said: "For three weeks as soon as I got up, in fact, I fell. It was really very complicated. I couldn't take it anymore!" It sounds like it was a serious fall and could've easily have been far worse. So, she had to scrub her plans of being in the show last year but luckily made it this year. https://www-rtbf-be.translate.goog/a..._x_tr_pto=wapp Alizee injury50.jpg |

How Incredibly Awfull !
A Concussion can be really Bad; as sometimes they make you stay in the Hospital for two or three weeks and you have to make sure you are not bleeding in the head ! I have heard it makes you weak, too ! She will have to take it easy for a while; which means no Dancing ! I was going to send her a couple gifts before; but I wasn't going to ask her for anything; but just tell her I was a Fan in the US. That is if packages can get through the Covid and the international mail without being Quarantined ? Maybe I will see if i can send it now to cheer her up ? You know I am a real fan ; if I send her a gift; but i don't ask her for anything or bother her about anything !

From somebody who has had a similar fall (minus the monkey costume), I can attest the after-effects can linger on.
You know you are falling backward and in that second or so you tense your whole body up anticipating the hard landing. The impact jars your spine along with your head and, at least in my case, I had an injury similar to whiplash and dealt with that long after the concussion fear is over. Sounds like Alizee gets ongoing treatment for that. I'm glad she is feeling better this year. |
