Totally... I can completely understand why Alizée wanted to get away from this. As much as I love Mylène, this is kinda creepy. Especially since she's wearing the Gourmandises belt in that picture after her split with Alizée (or so it says).

Huh, yeah that's kind of odd. But fashion doesn't die I guess after just splitting from someone?

Hmm I guess that because the Gourmandises belt is such an iconic piece of Alizée imagery, it just looks wrong to see someone who's not Alizée wearing it, regardless of whether it's Mylène or not. Possibly 'creepy' is the wrong word, it's more sacrilegious.

I think it's more Mylene trying to hold on to Alizee in some way, so she coped with her loss by wearing her belt. Mylene was the mother sending her daughter off to college which was Alizee.....so sad....psh sike! THEIR SPLIT WAS THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED! The importance of Gourman and MCE would have died if Alizee did a third album with Mylene. Alizee would have died out very quickly unless Alizee was forced to dress even skimpier haha.

You know, I've always wondered what a third album with Mylene would've been like. Would it have been better than Gourmandises and MCE, the same, or worse?
I also wonder how her image would've evolved from her MCE look under Mylene's 'supervision', and what kind of outfits would she wear, and what dances would she perform...

I too think Alizée chose exactly the right time for the split. She's said before that Mylène was the person who taught her everything she knew... but nobody stays at school into their twenties!
