Floored
I just heard Parler Tout Bas for the very first time and I was just stunned at what I was listening to. I've never heard such beautiful voice. French phonetics plus Alizée's voice = Heaven. I especially like that "Il y a un cœur à l'interieur" part--it sounds so nice. All these years I've only thought of Alizée as "that haut french pop singer", so I never even bothered to listen to her other songs aside from Jen Ai Marre and Gourmandises. I'm so glad this site has HiRes flash vids.
And the video is very good too. Those walking dolls freaked me out and with Alizée shovelling the ground I began to wonder why they put that there. Then I realized she was just leaving her toys behind for the real world. That was very sweet. I hope she really has another album coming out. I'd consider it a tragedy if we don't hear from her again. rambling complete.

Parler Tout Bas really shows Alizée's vocal range; the other song that does this is A Contre Courant. I can sing along with her on that one until she hits those high notes, and then . . . oh, well. And if I switch keys so I can hit them, I can't hit the low ones.
That's the difference between having a good singing voice (me) and an incredible one (her).

OH YA, Parler tout bas is one of my favorite. ALso... Buy her second CD, and give track 11 a listen....song is titled Cœur Déjà Pris Its just as good, if not better.

Yeah I know what you mean Soik, I was floored by every song Alizee ever sang, every last one of them.
I just wish she would sing every song ever made in the world since the beginning of music. I would love to hear Alizee sing... Toy Soldiers by Martika or the Gwen Stefani song Dont Speak
