Alizee New Look
How do you guys like it?
I think shes still beautiful, but tan skin doesn't work on her, she needs to have paler skin and lighter hair.. basically.. i like the young alizee. Anyone feel the same? |

Well, even though we've seen the new, current Alizée, this still doesn't mean that this is the new "look" that will really be associated with promoting the new album/single and that she will use for performances. This all remains to be seen; what we saw was essentially her casual look, not her performance look. But what we did see is very reminiscent of Jenifer to me.

Actually, when she was younger, she was this dark. If you check out the earliest promo photos from Moi... Lolita and such, she's way tanned. She got pale after she moved to Paris :-P She's got her natural Corsican tan going on. The hair is darker than then, but it doesn't bug me.
Works for me either way, she's drop dead gorgeous!

I absolutely don't feel the same at all MG. I definitely prefer the grown-up Alizée to the cute teenager she used to be. And tan looks fine on her -- brings out her Mediterranean beauty. She's Corsican, not Irish or Swedish.
As is Jenifer Bartoli, hence the resemblance IMO. And Jenifer's a few years older than Alizée, so there aren't pictures of her as a teenager floating around.

She's mediterranean... She's never been pale...
Even her living in Paris has not wore off that tan completely. And never will, since it's in her genes. If she appears slightly pale in some photos, it's because of the photos itself. Last edited by RMJ; 09-27-2007 at 05:59 PM.. |

But I don't look like Alizée, nor vice-versa. (Before anyone jumps in, yes, the Swedes have their own beauty, too.)

I certainly have my opinions, but I hope she does whatever she wants and isn't pressured unduly by media machine to be a certain way! She is looking great and I hope for her all the best. I will be fun hearing all the songs from all the writers in November.
I will add one thing, though. Not about Alizée, but in general: it is discouraging that so many female celebrities gradually lose so much weight . A Twiggy thin body is just fine if you're naturally that way, but if you're not to get a twiggy thin body you'll have to get a twiggy thin boney face, no way around it. Hylas |
