Rumors and Speculation

This thread is really meant to to just make a comment rather than necessarily being open to discussion, but anyway. Is it just me or have the amount of rumors and speculation reached an uncomfortable level? Especially regarding the recent "cover art," the discussion of which which has now spilled over to multiple threads... it's beginning to become a bit of a headache just to keep track of it all. I propose that maybe we practice a little patience and see how things pan out. Just a thought.

The problem is that we've been hit by another flurry of rumours and, what's more important, very possible album art. It'll die down soon, I'm sure. There's only so much speculation we can do without any new concrete information.

Yes, there has been quite a bit of spillover and that is unfortunate. I guess we are so close we can taste it and it’s hard to control ourselves. Also, speculation can be quite enjoyable at times.

Lets face it, we’ve said just about all there is to say about performances that are 4 or more years old, and we have no new news right now. Take away the rumor and speculation and we’re pretty much down to posting in “other interests”. What else is there to talk about? There is a vacuum right now and it’s a natural law of physics that a vacuum tends to be filled with speculation. Now I gotta go see a man about a horse.....

HELLO Y'ALL I HAVE TO SAY I AM WITH LEFTY ON THIS ONE. A COUPLE OF NIGHTS AGO I HAD A DREAM THAT THE NEW SINGLE CAME OUT AND I WENT TO BEST BUY AND FOUND IT. I WOKE UP ALL EXITED ONLY TO REALIZE IT WAS JUST A DREAM

Well, I'll tell you one thing. I certainly could have continued talking about the old stuff in a leisurely pace as I've only been around since the beginning of the year (poor me). However, since we started getting those new photos and then 50/60, the "new age" has dawned, even without anything "official" (getting tired of the word official). I may never like anything more than the Mes Courants Electrique (maybe I will), but it's like, now that the dawn has broke, it's awfully hard to go back to the den. We want to run and frolick in the fields!

Ironically, as close as we are to the release, I've actually lost interest due to all the crap that's coming to light. Like you, I can't keep up. Now, I just look out for the "SINGLE RELEASED AT LAST!" thread
