It was registered to 2008 when it was created at 2000. 8 year registration right a way.

And yes, they did update the contact information in last September. Nothing important, tho.

Hi, can anyone tell me how long Alizee have been gone? I just accidentally discovered about her music this 2007. I have read a quote from someone (youtube.com) saying - "It is so bad that she have been gone for so long...she belong to the world not just to one person or to her family..." Can anyone exactly tell me what happened to Alizee. Why she stopped or have been gone for awhile (how long exactly...6 months???)? What is the reason for her being gone? Does she have any problem with a so called "someone" or with her family? Please anyone.....tell me .....

Oh yeah, I will definitely stay for sure. No way, I'm letting this one go. I have never heard an album where all the songs became my instant favorite. I have been playing Alizee music video daily and on every hour I can get to listen to her music. I never seem to get tired of listening to it and I really badly want to sing the lyrics. Too bad I can speak French...huhuhuhu!!! Waaaahhhhhh!!!! Can anyone send me the music J.B.G. and Abracadra. I have already downloaded the eight songs in her Album - Gourmandises. But the 2 songs is so hard to download, not enough sources. My email address is aliquis_venum@yahoo.com. Hope someone will have the heart to send me the two songs. Thanks!!!

But I will tell you where I think we will see it:
http://www.universalmusic.fr/servlet...tiste_id=81684

And while I'm in the business of making predictions, I'll say that while I think she's still with Universal, she won't be with Polydor this time out. Maybe under Mercury instead.

Can you explain the relationship between Universal and Polydor/Mercury? I can't say I understand the music industry.

Now my crappy English makes me doubt if my original question were well understood.
What I meant is do you think that they will add a link on moi-alizee.com to redirect you to her future site when it will be out? Or will it (moi-alizee.com) just disappear?

I understood, aFrenchie. "My guess is as good as yours" means I don't know. However, I think they will add a link on that universalmusic page, where it says "voir le site de l'artiste".

Polydor and Mercury are both subsidiaries of Universal Music, meaning that they were once independent record labels that have since been bought out by Universal yet continue to operate semi-independently. Actually, Polydor merged with Phonogram records in the 1970s to become PolyGram, which then absorbed Mercury. Then the two split back up into separate subsidiaries in the 1990s when PolyGram was bought by Universal.

Think of Universal as the country, with Polydor and Mercury each as states.
