Hey Scruffy! Thank you for posting this. This is a great song! It is "Une petite française" sung by the French singer Michèle Torr, representing Monaco, at the 1977 Eurovision Song Contest. The song came in 4th. (I love my Eurovision stuff!)

It seemed to fit in very well with those other songs you posted and I found it a little ironic that in all the different files I have, I stumbled across that one. I remember a few times when driving over there, instead of listening to the regular rock channels I favor, I looked for what I thought would typify a true French song if you know what I mean and that one really seemed to fit the bill.

It looks like Robert Rhein is still shooting for his 1,000th Alizee video by putting out another trio of videos earlier this month. At the beginning of this one, for about the first two minutes, I am wondering if anybody recognizes the video he uses and where I can find it? I think it is the longest hair I have seen on Alizee. I have a few still shots of this, but not the full video. Her smile at 1:12 is painfully beautiful.

This was an interview I think maybe at St Tropez which might be key to finding the original video which I might have. I believe his name was Nikos or Nicos. He was the host of a few shows she was in including Star Academy 2003 and it certainly looked like Alizee was a favorite of his.

I had downloaded a lot from the file share and have over 3Tb of Alizee media, and I did a search and cannot get a hit on any of these keywords. If you have it and can post it to download, I owe you one. That 0:46-1:20 segment is right up there with the 9 second Eiffel Tower video you posted as far as her finest moments on camera.

I just wanted to mention that the listing for Alizée at IMDB is actually very good.

Only one issue, there is no default image for her (you know, the one that appears next to her name in various listings of cast members).

Hey Rev, thanks for posting. It is actually very good as you say. But no picture? How would you even start picking out a single picture of her?

I like the trivia piece: Alizée's dance from "J'en Ai Marre" was the influence for the Night Elf female dance in Blizzard Entertainment's best-selling game World of Warcraft.

This is exactly how I discovered Alizee. When my son was 16 years old, he was hooked on WOW. I could not figure out what the draw was to the game. I went online to do some research on some game forum. One post had a link to a French singer doing the Night Elf dance. I hovered the mouse over the YouTube link then pressed it. The rest is history

I wasn't able to find that file. I think there's a good chance MerciAlizee has it or I'm sure he used to have it.
Looks like it was Saint Tropez
His name was Nikos Aliagas
The show was Toute la musique and I think the year was 2010

EDIT: I sent MerciAlizee a message. Of course we know Robert Rhein apparently has it.
