Neat video. Thanks for posting.
I am guessing it wasn't actually shot in New York. |

no. that shot of new york is what they call in the business the "establishing shot", as in they have a shot of when and where a scene/clip takes place. in this case, its sometime during the day in new york city. interiors shots can be very easily shot in different locations. thats film magic for ya

OOOOOOOOOOOOO MYYYYY GOD!! Insert Janice style from friends*
Alizee filming my city! Im 99% sure that this shot was taken from the Empire State Building's observation deck, that's the same view I remember from when I was up there august 25th 2001. Why did she chose New York though? also stop the video at 1:49 is that a bong?

Probably because the song takes place here. Andy Warhol (who someone's dressed up as at one point), East Village, Taxi jaune, etc. Though I bet the NYC shots are stock footage.

Wow, that was a brilliant video. Very expressive, and artistic. If that is a Japanese video, I wonder will the European/Mexican releases differ much? I wouldn't be surprised if it did, that seemed very much tailored to the seemingly quirky tastes of the Japanese!
On a side note, the guitarist in that video is wearing a tshirt with The Who's emblem on it. Nice one Alizée! Quote:
I think the megaphone is more to get the desired sound effect of the bridge rather than to actually be used in a visually artistic way. Muse use a megaphone in live performances when singing their cover of the Nina Simone Jazz hit, Feeling Good. As Matt Bellamy sings live , he uses it to achieve the sound he wants in that particular part of the song, rather than to look the part. I think for Alizée it may be something similar. On a side note, I am really beginning to think that Jeremy is a Muse fan. I remember that the Ahhh's in MJ reminded me of their song Knights of Cydonia, and now the megaphone in Fifty Sixty. It can't be mere coincidence, can it? (it probably is )
