haha yep. But it did seem like when she explained that she couldn't sing in spanish in the vid above that she definetely knew the meaning of what she was saying. I don't think she was told the exact words to say she didn't know it. She def just whipped it out. Cuz who would tell her what to say?Mylene?haha jk

If she teaches me to pronounce the words in À Contre-Courant (or performs it again, re-orchestrating or not ) I'll teach her all the English and its slang she wants to learn But as Jung said, she probably knows enough. Who knows, I might prefer hearing a little pause and "um" and that lovely accent as she speaks

But mostly I wanted to post it cause i just found it for the first time, it pertains to Edie, and, well, it blew me away. No instruments, nothing but Lilly here. A voice like no other, anywhere, ever.

Yah she uses english words, but doesn't speak English in it. Oh and also I's not an accapella thing, it's just Fifty-Sixty with no instruments. Oh yah cause the video said it was an accapella haha. But yes thankyou for that Chuck. And I'm askin you guys to dig deep into your brains and files to try and find some English she uses. Thankyou for what you have provided so far!!!

Well, you can't really blame Her Grace and Beauty for the MCÉ songs since they were just odd translations that so happened to fit the music. I could be wrong, but I don't think she had any influence with those.

Nowadays... I'm sure she's taken some form of English lessons, but they don't seem to have gotten her very far...

Take 2001 Alizée
I can't stand how this lady pronounces her name

<object width="320" height="265"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/NZTPGVrKIU0&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/NZTPGVrKIU0&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="320" height="265"></embed></object>

and compare it to 2008 (I think?)

I've never understood why the hell she threw that in there... and can't stand it either, which is a shame because the rest of the song sounds amazing.

I can feel the left side of my brain swell whenever I hear that "DJ" stuff...

To me, it's like

"Allons enfants de la patrie
Le jour de gloire est arrivé
Red bull gives you wings!
Contre-nous de la tyrannie"
