Yeah I saw several people mentioning it sounded like the intro to a Bond film, myself included. But they never noticed it had the same guitar and feel as JBG from Gourmandises

I was going to post yesterday saying that it sounds a lot like it belongs in a Bond film. Of course, you wouldn't believe me now. Credibility kinda gets shot to crap if you're not the first one to say it.

Interesting though that several people thought the same thing. Hm...makes me wonder how many other things I thought I was alone on that others actually see as well.

You don't have to be the first to say it to be believable! The first time I heard the new single, I was thinking 60s and the word "retro". Then I'm reading the comments last night, and those were the exact words that people used to describe it and they posted right after the song was released. I highly doubt Alizee was thinking, "Hey, this song is avant garde and modern, not some throwback to an earlier era." A French comment mentioned that one of Alizee's writers/producers was a guy who worked primarily in movies, so that may be where the feel of a catchy movie tune came from. I just hope the entire album is not like a movie soundtrack.
