the group was called Quintet of the Hot Club of France
they where pretty big in france back then. the guitarest had only two fingers on his left hand!! his a legend.

Not enough for me but there's an audience of course...
Do you know Jean-Luc Ponty and Didier Lockwood btw? The former lives in the US since the late 70s now and played with Frank Zappa, Mahavishnu Orchestra and some others... They both are modern Grapellis . I like them even more.

i dont think i know jean and didier but i do know frank zappa and the mahavishnu orchestra i prefer john mclaughlin solo meterial
its great that theres a fan of this type of music in the forum aFrenchie
