I remembered when I first listened to Psychédélices I would often skip Par les paupières and Psychédélices but the more I listened to the album as a whole the more I liked them.

According to my Itunes songlist, Coeur deja pris is played the most from her Mes Courant Electriques album. This is one of my favorite songs of her, I just wish there was a live recording somewhere on the internet......

Another great song she sang is "Idealiser" also underestimated

Whoa. Hahaha. When I first started listening to her, I pretty much did the same thing (except only the first two albums were out at the time) and didn't really skip too many songs. I thought they were all mostly good in some way. I even liked Mon Maquis!! These days I only start from Moi...Lolita to Mes Fantomes rarely. It's too much but it's perfect for long rides and such though.

Even back when I first discovered Alizée and liked all her songs, Abracadabra was the ONE song I couldn't listen to and ALWAYS skipped. I even liked Couer Deja Pris, JBG and a few of the others that most people don't care too much for. Couer Deja Pris is beautiful if you have the patience for it.

So there you have it - I can appreciate all her songs EXCEPT Abracadabra. Every other song has at least SOMETHING in it that can make it tolerable depending on your mood and such. But Abracadabra is NEVER good for me; makes me feel like I'm listening to a children's song.

Abracadabra is the only one I skip. I like all the others enough to not ever skip them. If you're skipping over the slow songs you are missing out on some of Alizée's most passionate and heartfelt moments.

I always skipped Abracadabra too, but last week I was fishing and listening to Alizee on my Blackberry and just as I was going to skip it I hooked a nice trout. So now I'm thinking it might be good luck for fishing anyway.

Ok so maybe Abracadabra isn't that good. But here is something to try and imagine: What if there was a music video or performance of Adacadabra? Would it make you like the song more or less? Just trying to imagine cats around Alizee would be weird in and of itself.
All three are beautiful songs. As far as the first two, as I mentioned in a different thread the other day and you mention it here, I listen to her songs a lot more than I watch them now, but when I listen to them, I can picture her clear as day and that's why I probably listen for the most part to perfromances where there is a video of her singing a particular song.
