Alizee promotion in America (merged)

Ok so I found some time today to get on here. I emailed the embassy and asked hem for some information on what we would need to do to get her here and some other stuff. I'll let you know the results as soon as I get them!

Guys, I don't want to sound like I'm raining on the parade, but lets not try to get things that Alizée might not want.

From things I've heard so far, she doesn't seem to keen on getting into the US market, and throwing things that she doesn't want might not be the best thing to do.

If anything, just raising awareness of her is an excellent thing to do!

On the other hand, she is doing an album about Edie S. This almost necessitates at least one New York concert.

Now... what venue would match her style?

I'm going to stick firmly to what I usually do:

-Wear Alizée related material. (Mainly the t-shirt)
-Play her music as loud as I can when driving.
-Talking about her whenever the opportunity presents itself.
-Post things about her on facebook?

How about the NOKIA Theatre Times Square (2100 seats).
